What is Swanky Pins’ Return Policy?
We understand that occasionally buyers may need to return their orders or part thereof, for either an exchange or a refund. Our returns policy allows you 30 days from order date to return the item.
What items are Eligible to be Returned or Exchanged?
Items that are unworn, unwashed and in their original packaging. The returned item must be in its original condition to enable us to re-sell it /return it to our supplier if it is defective, or we may decline the return. Please note we cannot accept the return of hosiery once its has been out of the packet. Due to hygiene reasons & the delicate nature of ‘nylons’ we cannot accept returns of hosiery that has been tried on as they will not be in an ‘as new’ condition.
Once opened, it is the responsibility of the buyer to examine the item carefully and note any faults before trying on or wearing. Any hosiery with snags, pulls or ladders cannot be considered as factory defects once the item has been taken out of the packet or tried on.
Please let us have your order number with the return to help us correctly identify your order and payment.
We are not able to offer a refund or exchange on an item where a customer does not have a tracking number should the item not arrive safely.
No refund can be offered for items that appear to have been worn or are not returned in original inner packaging.
Do I have to pay for Returns or Exchanges?
If there is a fault in the product itself or with our service (if we have mistakenly sent an incorrect order) we will refund the cost of your return postage. Any faulty items must be returned within the 30 day period.
All products are checked before being shipped, but we will happily exchange the item or refund any return postage costs for a product that has a defect we have missed, or incorrectly sent orders.
Exchanges are free, we will not charge any additional shipping costs if you wish to exchange an item.
If the customer has ordered an incorrect size or colour or perhaps just doesn’t like the product once received, we will be happy to accept the return but unfortunately we will not be able to refund return postage costs.
Overseas Returns: If you are returning an order from overseas please clearly mark the package ‘RETURN’, to avoid customs fees. We will not accept returns whereby we have to pay a fee to recieve the goods.
How long it it take to process my refund?
Once your return arrives in an acceptable condition a refund or replacement will be processed within 48 hours of us receiving and checking the return.
Uncollected Orders:
We do not refund postage costs for items that are not collected by the customer – i.e those delivered to Click & Collect points, or overseas where an order has to be collected from a point other than a home address. The postage cost will be deducted from an eventual refund.
If items sent overseas are returned to us due to failure to pay required customs duties then all shipping costs will be deducted from your refund.
Uncollected items can take many weeks, or even months (depending on where they were sent) before the package is returned to us. We cannot refund until we receive the package.
